I highly recommend the book "A Sugar Bug On My Tooth" for parents to share and teach their kids that going to the dentist doesn't have to be a scary experience. In the beginning, Natalie Jean is fearful of a routine check-up; which is probably common for children. Even though she was afraid, Natalie Jean eased her way into it and by the end, she realized that it's nothing to be afraid of. I really liked how Natalie Jean was aware of how the other children were feeling before AND AFTER their check-up. In this book, Dr. Linda Sturrup teaches a great way for children to show compassion while managing their own emotions.
My granddaughter love this book, so did I. Thanks Dr Stirrup for your vision and compassion for children. Can't wait for the next book.
